TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Our main alpaca trek route is through fields and pastures, and as such, is not suitable for wheelchair users or for prams. No one loses out, though, as our pastures surrounding the Alpaca Space are all accessible, and our picnic tables are all wheelchair user accessible too!

Set age for an alpaca trek walker with an alpaca is from age 12 upwards, although a younger child may accompany a trekking adult but not be leading an alpaca, and always under supervision on the trek. Younger children must be booked as part of the family / group ticket for 4 in the group, where under 2s are free and not counted in the total of 4 - ALL under 18s MUST be accompanied by an ticket holding adult in any booking.
We are based in Northern Ireland – our weather is a mix of everything and what looks very sunny when you set out from home may be different by the time you reach our farm. Coats, wellies and/walking boots are definitely recommended so that you can forget about getting cold or muddy, and concentrate on meeting our fabulous alpacas. No flip flops, heeled footwear or bare feet allowed!
Suitable footwear and clothing for field/paddock conditions - suncream and hats for the summer weather we all hope to get, coats and wellies for the days we are all too used to with damp conditions!

We insist, no matter what experience you are booking with us, that any under 18 year olds will be accompanied by a supervising adult from the same family/booking group on the farm at all times.
Please arrive on time for your activity – especially in the case of our Talk ‘n Trek, we will not be able to hold up a group if you are late, and late arrivals who miss their experience will not be entitled to a refund or a reschedule of your booking.
Appropriate behaviour in our animals homes!
When you visit our farm, you are guests in our animals home, and we ask for respect and tolerance to be exhibited at all times.

Alpacas are incredibly friendly and inquisitive animals, but everyone can get spooked sometimes! We ask that all children and adults act sensibly, and take personal responsibility to act within the safety guidelines that will be detailed at the start of your experience. Mourne Alpacas Ltd will not be responsible for any issue arising as a result of inappropriate or incorrect handling, actions or behaviour by visitors to our facilities. All visitors are asked to adhere to the proper implementation of the information given during the arrival behaviour and safety briefing. All children under the age of 18 remain the responsibility of their group related adults at all times. No standing, shouting or running behind alpacas or other animals, and no rough behaviour or volume will be tolerated.
We reserve the right to refuse entry to the farm, or to ask anyone considered to be acting inappropriately towards our animals, our guests and our farm personnel to leave immediately, with no refunds or re-bookings considered.
